When I became a father in 2007, I was 25 years old with a dead end job and very little money in the bank. It was an extremely scary and exciting time in my life. It took me a long time to realize the true meaning of fatherhood. When my then-girlfriend and my two sons were forced to go live in a Salvation Army shelter during the holidays; something happened to me that I will never forget. I stopped thinking of myself. I found two jobs; one at night and one during the day. We rented a two-bedroom apartment. Every year we tried to make our kids’ holidays memorable. Everything I do I do for my family. I want them to have what I was not able to have; from clothing and shoes to the best education possible.

Fatherhood is a 24-hour/7-day-a week commitment that I promise to God that I will uphold!!!
